PROTECT YOUR REBEL BASE

Your facility risk walkthrough—right here.

Use this walkthrough with your team on this page. Identify the condition, who responds and what evidence would justify a pilot.

Where would a quiet failure hurt?

Water and environment

[ ] Water heaters, plumbing, HVAC drain pans and leak paths
[ ] Server/network rooms, critical storage and vacant suites
[ ] Coolers, freezers and temperature-sensitive inventory
[ ] Humidity, condensation, air-quality or ventilation concerns
[ ] Who checks conditions outside normal staffed hours?

Power, network and equipment

[ ] Critical equipment, power protection and outage notifications
[ ] Reliable Wi-Fi where people actually work
[ ] Documented network closets and labeled cable links
[ ] Backup connectivity and recovery dependencies
[ ] Approved device/gateway access and maintenance ownership

Cameras and access

[ ] Important views, lighting, timestamps and recording retrieval
[ ] Authorized access, visitor process and departing-user removal
[ ] Storage/retention decisions and appropriate privacy practices
[ ] A manager who can retrieve an agreed test recording
[ ] Open issues with a named owner and follow-up date

An alert is not the person who fixes the leak.

Choose one worthwhile condition

Condition / location: ____________________________
Business consequence if missed: __________________
Current inspection or reporting method: ___________
People affected / critical operating hours: __________

Design the watch

Reading or event to detect: ______________________
Placement / connectivity to validate: ______________
Threshold / duration / schedule: __________________
Primary responder / safe contact: _________________
Escalation if nobody acknowledges: ________________

Plan for the application

Confirm appropriate sensor selection, installation, calibration where relevant, permissions, device health, battery changes and notification testing. Qualified personnel should determine electrical, gas, emergency and life-safety requirements. Ordinary connected monitoring does not automatically replace required safety systems.

Never tell us the odds. Show us the test.

Run the whole workflow

[ ] Verify the reading or event at the intended location
[ ] Test the notification and escalation under agreed conditions
[ ] Confirm the recipient knows what action to take
[ ] Review false alarms and missing/failed-device behavior
[ ] Record the result and the owner of maintenance
[ ] Agree what evidence would justify expanding the pilot

Prioritize the next three improvements

1. Problem / consequence: ________________________
Owner / next step / date: ________________________
2. Problem / consequence: ________________________
Owner / next step / date: ________________________
3. Problem / consequence: ________________________
Owner / next step / date: ________________________
